AstroNumeria (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Denovate LTD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”).

By using AstroNumeria, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We are committed to transparency and your right to control your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account data: Email address and password (or social login tokens from Apple / Google)
• Birth data: Date, time, and place of birth (used exclusively for chart calculations)
• Profile preferences: Notification settings, language, and display preferences
• Support messages: Communications you send to our support team

2.2 Automatically Collected Data

• Device identifiers: Push notification tokens (FCM / APNs) for delivering personalized alerts
• Usage analytics: Feature interactions, session duration, and crash reports (via Firebase)
• Subscription status: Plan type and renewal dates (via RevenueCat; no payment card data is stored by us)

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

• Payment card numbers or bank account details
• Precise real-time GPS location
• Health or biometric data
• Contacts, photos, or media files from your device

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Calculate and deliver your natal chart, transit data, and numerology readings
• Generate personalized daily, weekly, and yearly insights
• Process subscription purchases and manage entitlements via RevenueCat
• Send push notifications for daily insights and cosmic events (only if you grant permission)
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
• Improve the app through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse

We do not use your birth data or personal information for advertising, data brokerage, or sale to third parties.

5. AI & Third-Party Processing

AstroNumeria uses OpenAI's API to generate personalized insight text. When generating AI content, we send astrological chart data and your first name — including planetary positions calculated from your birth date, time, and location — to create personalized readings. We do not send your email address, full address, or other contact information to OpenAI. Your data is processed according to OpenAI's API data usage policies and is not used to train their models.

AI-generated content is for entertainment and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or psychological).

OpenAI processes data under their own Privacy Policy. API usage data may be retained by OpenAI per their data retention policies; we do not share your personal profile with them.

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained for the life of your account
• Account deletion requests: Personal data deleted within 30 days of request (see Section 8)
• Backups: Anonymized backup data purged within 90 days
• Legal hold: Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for fraud prevention

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest (passwords are bcrypt-hashed)
• JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens
• Rate limiting and anomaly detection on all API endpoints
• Regular security audits and dependency updates

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information to third parties. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt-out under the CCPA.

9. Children's Privacy

AstroNumeria is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
